Dear Blog readers,
starting today the Blog posts about Michael van Beek are published by me, Han Schomakers. For many years I have been a colleague of Michael and we get along very well. Some months ago I suggested Michael to help him with the updates of his website from the moment he started his big challenge. And he thought that was a good idea. When Michael sends his rough texts on a regular basis from Canada I can transfer them in readable stories. In that way anyone who follows Michael is being well informed.
This afternoon, Thursday April 9th, 2015 Michael left for Canada by plane. The trip consists of three parts: first to Reykjavik on Iceland where Michael changes to the plane to Toronto. From there he goes in the direction of St. John's where his first stage begins on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
While Michael flies to Canada his interview by the RTV Noord-Holland channel is being broadcasted a number of times. Michael talks about his journey and about Sarcoidosis. His mother will also speak about how proud she is on her son. And I tell something about my involvement with Michael's challenge.
