What is Sarcoidosis?
Sarcoidosis, also known as Besnier Boeck (Schaumann), is a disease in which there are often unexpected infections in organs and tissues in the body. There are accumulations of leukocytes formed (called Granuloma). Fortunately the granulomas usually disappear without intervention. However, there may be also granulomas are left, affecting organ function. Also the scar tissue that sometimes left at the site of the granulomas may be harmful to organs and tissues.
The result of sarcoidosis in organs can cause a variety of unpleasant symptoms. Currently the Sarcoidosis is centered in my lungs resulting in a slight tightness and cough. There is an acute and a chronic form of the disease. So far it seems I have the acute form of sarcoidosis. In half of the patients this disease often disappears within three years by itself. Sarcoidosis can come back later.
So far there is no drug "against ' Sarcoidosis, only treatments to combat the symptoms.
Sarcoïdose, également connu sous le nom de Besnier Boeck (Schaumann), est une maladie où il y a souvent des infections inattendues dans les organes et tissus du corps. Il y a des accumulations de leucocytes formés (appelées granulome). Heureusement, les granulomes disparaissent généralement sans intervention. Toutefois, il peuvent y avoir aussi des granulomes sont laissés, affecter les fonctions de l'organe. Aussi, le tissu cicatriciel qui parfois laissés sur le site des granulomes peut être nocif aux organes et tissus.
Le résultat de la sarcoïdose dans les organes peut causer une variété de symptômes désagréables. Actuellement, la sarcoïdose est centrée dans mes poumons entraînant une légère sensation d'oppression et de la toux. Il y a une aiguë et une forme chronique de la maladie. Jusqu'à présent il semble que j'ai la forme aiguë de la sarcoïdose. Dans la moitié des patients cette maladie disparaît souvent dans les trois ans par lui-même. Sarcoïdose peut revenir plus tard.
Jusqu'à présent il n'y a aucun médicament "contre" sarcoïdose, seulement des traitements pour lutter contre les symptômes.
What means Sarcoidosis for me?
From the end of April 2014 I know that I have Sarcoidosis. The disease seems to disappear from my body. The diagnosis explained a lot of my complaints over the last years, such as;
- Headache,
- chest pressure,
- heart arrhythmias,
- thick ankles with discoloration,
- balance disorders,
- memory loss,
- fatigue,
- concentration decrease,
- pain in me phalanges and thickened phalanges pain,
- Pain in knees and ankles,
- disoriented,
- Nauseous sometimes,
- irregular propulsive gang stool,
- mountain in eyes that temporarily falls away,
- feeling of syncope,
- short of breath with exertion,
- coughing,
- Tingling and itchy legs and feet,
- itching on the hull,
- Periodic reduction of sensation in fingers and skin,
- Accelerated aging process
This disease has a weird and even more manifestations than described above.
What am I going to do with my disease?
After I had my diagnosis few days earlier heard, I lay the Sun thinking; What if this disease is going to affect my life and I can no longer can work and function? What am I going to do with it?
The answer to the last question came in a Flash inside. My thoughts were with the words of Terry Fox. “I just wish people would realize that anything is possible if you try. Dreams are made if people try.”

Après que j'ai eu mon diagnostic, quelques jours plus tôt entendus, je m'étends la réflexion du soleil ; Si cette maladie va affecter ma vie et je ne peux n'est plus peuvent travailler et fonctionner ? Ce que je vais faire avec elle ?
